Mrs. Thomas is the Founder and Director of Freestyle Learning Homeschool Center. She Homeschooled her 3 children and she continues pouring love and warmth into families every day.

She ran a Home Daycare for over 30 years. During this time I received my BA in Early childhood Administration and my Master's in Education. My passion is supporting families in their children' Education.

Mrs. Thomas is an amazing crafter. She operates "Made by Trece", which is a crafting business. She believes that "if you think it, she can create it". 

​

Mrs. Thomas is a grandmother to 4 beautiful children. She loves spending time with her grandkids and spending time with her husband of 30 years! 

Ms. Shabria has taken the scenic route to make her dream of teaching kids come true. After collecting her Early Childhood Development degree from Rasmussen College, Shabria opted to work as a nanny for a while before having a stellar epiphany – if she opened her own home daycare, then she could make a bigger contribution to the lives of her young ones. And so she did.

After years of running her own daycare, she decided to join the village of FSL and give homeschooling a whirl. With first-hand experience in homeschooling and being an advocate of the same, Shabria is elated to be a part of this thriving community.

All this, plus the fact that she gets to do what she adores every day – nurture and educate blossoming scholars – is truly rewarding!

Donovan Oneil is an experienced educator and minister with a passion for serving others. With 10 years of experience in elementary education, Donovan has honed his skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management. He is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive learning environment for his students, fostering a love of learning and a desire to succeed.

In addition to his work in education, Donovan has also spent 15 years in ministry, serving as a mentor, counselor, and spiritual leader to those in need. He is committed to helping others grow in their faith and develop a deeper understanding of their relationship with God.

With his unique combination of skills and experience, Donovan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to any organization or community he serves. He is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those around him and is always looking for new ways to help others reach their full potential.

Brittney Grant is a highly skilled artist and educator with a decade of experience at Genesis Academy. Her unwavering dedication to education and performance arts has profoundly influenced the lives of her students.

Through her exceptional talents in dance, arts, and teaching, Brittney has created a remarkable and captivating learning environment for her students. Her commitment lies in nurturing their abilities and nurturing a passion for learning and exploration.

Beyond her exceptional work at Genesis Academy, Brittney is an accomplished performer and has actively participated in numerous dance and theater productions throughout her career. Her creativity and fervor for the arts have consistently inspired and entertained audiences of all ages.
